Healthcare & Locum Recruitment Ltd was first established in 2011 after realising the need for a competitively priced solution which allowed our agency to supply skilled clinical and non-clinical professionals to an ever more demanding Healthcare market.

HLR understood the need for a more flexible workforce, whilst also understanding that the cost to our clients needed to offer both value and savings.

In a relatively short space of time HLR was awarded the accolade of an approved NHS supplier with multiple contracts which included hospitals, GP Practices, Walk in Centres and Medical Groups.

In our quest to ensure that our clients only receive the best service, HLR will first identify the individual requirements of each practice or hospital and then set about implementing a “high touch approach” relationship. HLR agents will work closely with both managers and staff to ensure that our clients only receive the correct match and skill set which they have requested.

HLR also operate an online booking portal known as (HLRsysnet), which is used by both clients and candidates.

HLRsys.net vastly improved the way our clients were able to book their shift requirements; approved booking managers only need to place their shifts requirements into HLRsysnet, and the system which operates in real time allows all available candidates with the correct skill set to claim the shifts at a moment’s notice, eliminating unnecessary emails, long winded phone calls and any chance of mis-communications. The system also allows our clients to book shifts 24hrs a day. No need to wait until the following day or normal working hours to make your request. Clients will also be able to see in real-time when the shifts are covered.
